1. Scope and roles
This Privacy Policy applies to surveyconvo.com, app.surveyconvo.com, and the owner and respondent experiences provided by SurveyConvo (the “Service”).
When you create or manage a SurveyConvo account, visit our website, or contact us directly, TechnoMarketers is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
When an organization uses SurveyConvo to interview its customers, employees, prospects, or other respondents, that organization generally decides why the information is collected. In that situation, the organization is the controller or business and SurveyConvo processes the information on its behalf. Respondents should direct requests about an interview to the organization that invited them; we will support that organization as appropriate.
2. Information we collect
Account and contact information
We collect information such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, Account and Workspace memberships, role, and communications with us. If you use Google sign-in, Google provides the profile details needed to create and authenticate your account.
Content customers configure or submit
Customers may provide Convo Agent goals, instructions, questions, introductions, consent language, branding, templates, and other configuration. We also process support requests and other content customers send to us.
Conversation and respondent information
The current respondent experience collects a respondent’s name, email address, and consent record. When a conversation begins, we may also collect voice audio, typed or spoken responses, a transcript, conversation metadata, and technical session information. SurveyConvo generates summaries, sentiment, findings, and recommended actions from the conversation.
Usage and device information
We collect IP address, browser and device information, dates and times, pages and features used, referring pages, diagnostic logs, and bounded product events. Our website may store campaign attribution for the browser session. When Google Analytics is configured, it may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and product interactions.
Billing information
If you purchase or arrange a paid plan, we may collect plan, subscription, invoicing, and transaction details. A payment provider may collect payment-card information directly; we do not need to store full card numbers.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
- authenticate users and manage Accounts, Workspaces, roles, and invitations;
- run Convo Agent interviews and create recordings, transcripts, analyses, and recommended actions;
- provide support and send service, security, and administrative messages;
- manage plans, usage limits, billing, and transactions;
- understand product usage and improve reliability and user experience;
- detect abuse, protect users, and enforce our agreements; and
- comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
We may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual and use it to operate, understand, and improve the Service.
4. AI interviews and recordings
SurveyConvo uses AI service providers to conduct live voice or text interviews and analyze completed conversations. This means prompts, responses, transcripts, and live audio may be processed by those providers to deliver the requested features.
Voice conversations require recording consent in the current respondent experience. When voice is used, SurveyConvo may store a mixed audio recording and transcript for the customer that created the Convo Agent. AI-generated summaries and recommendations can be incomplete or wrong and should be reviewed by the customer before action is taken.
We do not use conversation audio, transcripts, or respondent details for targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
6. How long we keep information
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and business records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of information, the customer’s instructions, the Account’s status, and legal or operational requirements.
Conversation content may remain available to the customer until it is deleted or the Account is closed. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups or records we must retain. Respondents should contact the organization that invited them to request deletion of interview content.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a request. You may also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, and limit certain uses of personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. SurveyConvo does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You can manage certain account details in the Service, control cookies or storage through your browser, or email info@technomarketers.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, our legal bases may include performing a contract, pursuing legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, complying with law, and consent where required. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
8. Security and international transfers
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
SurveyConvo and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on recognized legal mechanisms and contractual safeguards for international transfers.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Customers must not use SurveyConvo to interview children without the notices, permissions, and parental consent required by applicable law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service and our practices change. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required by law.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@technomarketers.com. SurveyConvo is a product of TechnoMarketers.
